Story: Bob Dylan became a legend at a young age, but continued to grow and change as an artist, despite being forever tied to the romanticism of his youth. As a young 22 year-old star, he drove cross-country with a few friends to appear on the Steve Allen Show in California during February 1964, and discovered the Beatles along with the rest of America while en route. During 1965-66, he “went electric”, and toured the world with a former bar band called the Hawks, where he was booed on a nightly basis by folk music purists. A decade later, on Thanksgiving 1976, he appeared one last time with his former backup band, now known as The Band, at their famous Last Waltz concert in San Francisco. Almost a decade after that, he made his infamous appearance at Live Aid in Philadelphia.
